This forum is for the discussion of anything to do with Prostate Cancer.

UPDATES FROM MEMBERS

CALVIN W - two and a half years after surgery, it is only Caverject that keeps his ED at bay – and he’s sent his pic in

BILL R – diagnosed in 2006 with a PSA of 139.0 and a T4 staging, he is back on ADT (Androgen Deprivation Therapy) after a 15 month ‘holiday’

BOB SMITH an excellent summary of the pros and cons of Active Surveillance – his latest biopsies show no trace of prostate cancer

JOHN CHANDLER – Silver member whose PSA is still undetectable 8 years out from his surgery– maintains lists of the best practitioners in the US

GARY AMATO - just made it to Gold membership after surgery – his PSA went up to 0.20 after nine years but has stabilised

RICHARD COLEMAN - has chosen proton beam at MD Anderson

GARY POWELL - coming up to two years after his RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) his PSA is undetectable, but he still has some ED issues

BOB CHAPMAN very happy with the outcome four years after surgery

DOUGLAS N four years after his RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) his PSA is undetectable but so is his erectile function

JEREMY BACON - has decided against hemi-ablation HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) and will have the entire gland done
