Prostate Cancer Survivors

YANA - YOU ARE NOT ALONE NOW

PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT SITE

This forum is for the discussion of anything to do with Prostate Cancer.
There are only four rules:

  • No fundraisers, no commercials (although it is OK to recommend choices of treatment or medical people based on your personal research; invitations to participate in third-party surveys are also acceptable, provided there is no compensation to YANA);
  • No harvesting e-mail addresses for Spam;
  • No insults or flaming - be polite and respectful at all times and understand that there may be a variety of points of view, all of which may have some validity;
  • Opinions are OK, but please provide as much factual evidence as possible for any assertions that you are making

Failure to abide by these simple rules will result in the immediate and permanent suspension of your posting privileges.

Since this is an International Forum, please specify your location in your post.

MiniPoll Results

Thanks to everyone who went along to my Mini Polls and voted there – over 200 did so and gave me a very useful insight into what they find useful about the site. The results are summarised at MINI POLL

The major item of interest is the long term effects and of course this is the most difficult aspect to obtain information because it depends on contributors continuing the contributions regarding their personal experiences. Having said that, there are many men on the Lists and Forums who were diagnosed many years ago, but who have not put their story on the Yana site. If any of them would consider posting their stories, it would certainly be considered as very valuable information by the visitors to the site. If any of you ‘old hands’ want to tell your stories just go along to JOIN US

Please be sure to explain why you chose your treatment and summarise the outcomes – it is not necessary to provide any great detail of the therapy itself – surprisingly (for me in any event) there is little interest in this aspect of diagnosis, treatment and outcome.
