This forum is for the discussion of anything to do with Prostate Cancer.
There are only four rules:

I am sorry there has been a delay in uploading the new stories and updates, but I haven't been too well. Nothing serious,and not PCa realted but.....

I'm feeling a bit better today, so here are the ones I completed last week. I'm hoping I'll get down to starting the backlog tomorrow or the next day.

FERN WILLIAMS - newly diagnosed and uncertain of treatment choice because of existing Parkinson’s Disease

L ANON recovering from RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) but not happy with the outcome as far as size is concerned

BRUCE S newly diagnosed at 40 and heading for RALP

STEVE ROWAN had RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) recently and is looking for help with continence issues

UPDATES FROM MEMBERS

JOHN FLYNN some delay in getting tests for his proposed brachytherapy

MICHAEL L - has had his RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) and is feeling good

KENNETH WILSON – a little over two years from his surgery, his PSA is undetectable, he has no continence issues and his ED issues are almost done

DENNIS CARLISLE diagnsoed with a low PSA of 1.7 but a GS 9, stage T3 tumour, has responded well to Lupron

PAUL JOHNSON – sent in his pic – anyone else who wants to do that can e-mail one in

RON COOPER - incontinence and PSA are under control but ED is a continuing issue after his surgery last year

DINO BROWN - his problems with the implant to help his incontinence continue

THOMAS REED - the effects of his adjuvant ADT (Androgen Deprivation Therapy) are wearing off and he’s happy with the outcome of his proton beam at MD Anderson

MICK STAMM (previously Mick Abilene) – almost three years out of surgery and running marathons

JOHN BONNEVILLE 18 months after treatment – EBRT (External Beam Radiation Therapy) and ADT (Androgen Deprivation Therapy) his PSA seems to have hit a nadir

DAVID PRICE apparently trying to decided between HIFU and Brachytherapy

RALPH MOLE a little over 12 months after RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) his PSA is OK but has some ED issues

BERNARD POWER PSA reduced substantially after ADT (Androgen Deprivation Therapy) but has started to rise again

JIM FERGUSON - two years after RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) – he is finally getting his Ed problem resolved

JOHN DADAK - still uncertain about what choice to make

D J still has ED problems three years after RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) – but is seeing some improvement – is somewhat concerned about an increase in PSA from 0.003 to 0.007

JIM KOTRLA two years after RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) he uses 2/3 pads a day and has no erectile function

SCOTT TICKNER four years after RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) has no incontinence problems but still has no erectile function

IAN VAGG back from Thailand but still a little concerned about his 1.7 PSA after almost 4 years on ADT

DENNIS CROWLEY recovering from recent RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) – so far so good

DAN RICE had RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) but has some urinary problems

DAVID LYNCH Silver member – diagnosed 2000 when he chose surgery which failed in 2007 – had EBRT and now reporting in - no change

SCOTT HEARN completed his ProstRcision® therapy last year and has no problems other than some urinary urgency

KENNETH HORN PSA down after EBRT (External Beam Radiation Therapy) and ADT (Androgen Deprivation Therapy)
