Re: Post-Op intestinal (gas) pain

Greetings Joe.

I had my daVinci RP on July 7. I thought the gas the first six days after surgery was going to tear me apart. It took me four days to have a bowel movement and it nearly put me on the ceiling. Ducolax stool softener is a must, in my book. I'm still taking two-a-day and glad for them. Also, the Dr. advised that a yogurt with active yeast culture was a very reliable way to get the plumbing working in a constant way.

I hope everything comes out alright... eventually.

Scot

Re: Post-Op intestinal (gas) pain

Thanks Scot,
Appreciate your eencouragement & advice. After several uncomfortable weeks things resolved themselves, more or less. Guess my intestines were more affected by the meds etc. than most. Small price to pay, in the long run. Thanks again.
