Re: Casodex/Avodart

It should drop in a week or two. I had a psa of 30 and in two weeks it was 15 and in 1 month it was 0.6.

Ask your doctor about Femera, it's expensive, but if your insurance will pay it's worth it. It stops any breast growth while taking Casodex.

I've had practically no side affects except loss of libido. I had hot flashes a couple of times a day that lasted for 3 or 4 min. I rarely get hot flashes now after being on it for 5 months.

I'm currenty into week 3 of 5 weeks of IMRT after seed placements. PSA last week was undetectable; I don't know if it is the Casodex or the radiation, but I'll take it.
