incontinence following robotic assisted radical prostatectomy

Greetings,
Thanks so much for this web site. It has been a great help.
I am scheduled for robotic assisted radical prostatectomy April 17 in Tulsa, OK. What kind of pads, etc. work best after the catheter is removed (one week later for me)? Any hints on how to handle this whole incontinence issue would be appreciated.
I have a desk job and am also wondering how long most guys are off work following this surgery?

Re: incontinence following robotic assisted radical prostatectomy

Steve,

If you go along to LAPARASCOPIC RADICAL PROSTATECTOMY and page down you'll find two or three pieces on what you might need, how to deal with a catheter and so on.

Good luck

Terry in Australia
