Aloha William McAtee,
Three different pathology reports is a bummer.
Is your Gleson <=6? What is your PSA? is it steady? rising? how many positive cores?
If you are G <= 6, with one or two positive cores, I would say stop and wait & see.
Faith, Hope, & Love,
Joe

Re: Pathology... when to quit?

I sent my slides to Bostwick labs. They had the same score as my first labs of 4+5, bad deal! I had the original slides sent the same week as they were taken. Call them with specific questions, they were very helpful.

Re: Pathology... when to quit?

Bostwick/Bostwick Labs was who I used. Another recognized expert is Jonathan I. Epstein, M.D.:

Fax: 443-287-3818
E-mail: jepstein@jhmi.edu

I'd think he'd want the cores (if available) that should have gone into formaldehyde - ask.
