Two Items Of Particular Interest For Australians

Those of you who do not received circulars from Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia might like to know that Dr Mark Moyad, who specialises in Preventative and Alternative Medicine is giving two presentations this month.

The first is in Melbourne on Saturday 14 March; the second in Perth on Tuesday 17 March. You must register by March 9 - telephone numbers are (03) 9629 5655 for Melbourne and (08) 9381 5820 for Perth. Cost is A$10 a head.

The second item is from one of our contributors who says he has:

..... been thinking of posting on ED medication from the Indian company Allday chemist for the benefit of our Australian members. He says the cost of the medicines in Australia is outrageous with no relief from the PBS or health funds (unless, for some funny reason, you are a Vietnam vet). Allday have a very good reputation for service and quality) and based on this I gave them a try. Service was excellent and I had no problems or queries from Australian customs and the order was delivered problem free at a cost of about $1-00 a pill. Although the medication has very little effect on me (non nerve sparing) I had been advised by the urologist to take half dose every second day, more for healing purposes than anything else but the cost was a real eye popper. I gave the details to a couple of other local patients struggling with the cost of the originals and they went the same route. They have subsequently contacted me describing the generics supplied as equally as effective as the patented variety. One of the major suppliers to Alldaychemist is Ranbaxy (an Indian pharmaceutical company) who is an major supplier of all types of generic medications available on our PBS. (they have Australian Therapeutic Goods approval as well as American FDA approval)

All the best

Re: Two Items Of Particular Interest For Australians

Many thanks for posting this Terry. I have been tied up for a week or so and this prevented me from attending to the post and drawing attention to the availability of generic Cialis, Viagra and Levitra to Australians via this supplier. Many members on a few international prostate patient forums I visit have endorsed the effectiveness of the generics and the security of Alldaychemist's site.
