Re: Post radical surgery Orgasm

My situation is very similar to yours. I had a DaVinci almost two years ago. Viagra et. al. don't help much but I can have an orgasm. Early on, I always had a lot of pain after an orgasm, sometimes for hours. A CAT scan showed fluid buildup in the pelvic area. My doc was not worried and said it would pass. Now I have orgasms witout pain. I always secrete a small amount of very sticky clear fluid.

Re: Re: Post radical surgery Orgasm

Thanks Paul for the info. It's certainly nice to be rid of the pain. I was worried that something had gone awry when there was fluid as I thought the orgasms were always dry. Thought maybe my surgeon had hooked me up wrong or something as he did the operation in less than an hour. Now if I can just find where those two missing inches have gone...

Re: Re: Re: Post radical surgery Orgasm

I know what you mean about the missing two inches.

My doc told me that the clear fluid is "pre-cum" that protects the sperm from urine as it passes along the urethra. The gland that secretes it farther along the urinary tract at the base of the penis.

Re: Post radical surgery Orgasm

The fluid is coming from cowper's gland and it's a lubricant that also neutralises acid in the vagina.

My own RRP is now 2 years removed. It took about a year before the pain went away all together although it got less intense over time.

Thanks Dan and Paul. Very informative . This site is so great with it's many contributors. I'm glad I stumbled upon it after I had my operation. Bye from Canada - where it has been freezing cold for the last 4 months.
