This forum is for the discussion of anything to do with Prostate Cancer.
There are only four rules:

  • No fundraisers, no commercials (although it is OK to recommend choices of treatment or medical people based on your personal research; invitations to participate in third-party surveys are also acceptable, provided there is no compensation to YANA);
  • No harvesting e-mail addresses for Spam;
  • No insults or flaming - be polite and respectful at all times and understand that there may be a variety of points of view, all of which may have some validity;
  • Opinions are OK, but please provide as much factual evidence as possible for any assertions that you are making

GARY D diagnosed with Gleason 9 – recovering after laparoscopic surgery

KISHAN RAO POLEPALLY cost of ADT and hot flashes drove him to orchidectomy


UPDATES:


LES TENNEY will be going for a PSA next month, but so far so good after EBRT and ADT for a Gleason 9 tumour

AL MAESTRI has decided to go with ADT and EBRT since it seems that there is spread beyond the gland

DON GREGGS one of our Platinum members – diagnosed in 1991 – reports a rise in his PSA

JAMES MC chose proton beam over surgery and is pleased with the outcome

BARRY COWAN undetectable PSA after successful Brachytherapy/EBRT in 2007

CAMERON BISHOP new Silver member who chose not to have conventional medical treatment

RICH BROWN another undetectable PSA but he is a little impatient about lack of ED progress

BUD WOODWARD with a falling PSA has decided on Active Surveillance

ROBERT ELLIS his PSA dropped 30 points after he started his trial


GEORGE CROZIER three months after laparoscopic surgery has frequency and ED problems

GORDON KERR new Silver member still has an occasional urinary problems after HDR Brachytherapy

T V continued good test results for TV after his HIFU therapy

FRANK MASLEN newly Silver member has had a slight rise six years after surgery
