EBRT More Facts Extracted

Aloha All,
Tried to pin down the oncologist about what he alluded to with respect to late (years) effects. Quote "As I recall we talked about telangiectasia (small dilated blood vessels) and ulcerations developing in radiated areas, sometimes years later. I didn't read it anywhere in particular, but these are known long term complications of bowel in a radiation field."

Re: EBRT More Facts Extracted

Thanks for that, Joe.

Something else to store and quiz my own oncologist about.
My bowel problems are very much better now that I've stopped wheat, but they are by no means as in good a shape as they were pre-radiation, and 11th November marked THREE YEARS since my last blast of RT.

Very Best Wishes,

George
