Loss of Two Good Men - and Today's Updates

Wednesday, 12 November 2008

Sad news today:

Kareem [kareem.hass@gmail.com] mailed me to say his father, BASSAM HASSOUNA,
passed away in October after the disease metastasized to his liver

When I sent a reminder to KEVIN REEDER in August 2008, it bounced. I feared that meant that he was unable to beat the disease in the end and sadly that proved to be correct. Kevin passed away in September 2007. This is the notice in THE HAWK EYE

Here are today’s updates and new posts.

UPDATES:

BOB GRANT a little over a year from Da Vinci all’s well

PHIL MUNFORD 18 months after Surgery – like Bob Grant, all’s well

ALAN ROLLINSON has responded well to ADT, but his wife is upset about side effects

JOHN HARRIGAN just had his annual test three years after Brachytherapy and all’s well

BRENT ECCLES very happy with his life four years after surgery – a complete contrast to what he imagined when he was diagnosed – truly our minds can be very dangerous places at times :- )

THOR O - had some problems with his radiation

ROGER GRONDIN a year after surgery – undetectable PSA but not much movement on the ED front

All the best

Terry in Australia
