Depression & Anxiety

Thank you all for your support & prayers. I've been on a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) for 3 weeks. The past two weeks have been wonderful. My case was more panic disorder, but still considered to be depression.
I would greatly urge anyone who has found out that they have PC to seek help through a Behavioral Health Service organization to at least rule out that they do not have any leanings toward D&A.
For over two years, I have not been able to get a good nights sleep, because my anxiety during the day, was some how physically limiting my kidney production. Then during the night I would relax and the kidneys would ramp up production, and I would be up every hour or so to void a full bladder (200 to 350 cc).
This week, my dentist told me I was clenching my teeth at night, and required some rebuilding of my canine teeth because they were badly worn down. Another cause from daytime anxiety.
It appears that it will take six months or more of medication & guidance to undo the damage that I did to my brain these past two years.
I am a new man.
Thank You,
Joe

Joe 67,

I'm happy to hear things are looking up for you. I know you've been suffering with this for quite a while and the relief you're getting now must be wonderful. So keep up the good work, and as the old cowboy used to say... Happy Trails!
