Hi Alan,

I agree with the others and feel sure that such a tiny PSA is nothing to be alarmed about. I think your progress has been excellent. Don't let this worry niggle away at you, and keep on keeping the faith!

Hey Allen,
You still have a prostate after radiation albiet small and non-functioning. It would then make sense that at some time it will begin to secrete PSA again. It should however stabilize at some point and this is known as the PSA "nadir". As far as being worried failure is now defined as three successive increases of PSA levels. This probably won't help your anxiety but you have to be patient and wait and see what happens. I go in next month for my checkup and my PSA has been undetectible for over a year now. I have finished ADT as of May (22 months) and expect that my PSA will also start to rise.
I was also told to use the same lab for all my blood draws as different labs will give different results!
