Sunday, 24 August 2008

Here are today’s updates and new posts. There are quite a lot as I sent out my July/August reminders. Many are from men diagnosed in their 40s which may be of particular interest to other men diagnosed when they were a similar age.

NEW

BIL HIS - on AS, has not seen any significant change in PSA in two years

JIM CARROLL - recovering after laparoscopic surgery to deal with failed HIFU treatment

BILL B has been on AS since diagnosis in 2004. Second biopsy found no trace of PCa: PSA still heading down

BOB ZUPANCIC - report back opne year after laparoscopic surgery

SCOTT GOODWIN - concerned about ADT failure with PSA rising to 1.98 ng/ml

GLEN LESLIE - Glen’s story is one of the most popular on the site – he tells the story of his surgery straight with no punches pulled

GREG NACKERS - diagnosed at 41 he is now eleven years down the track and doing fine – not all young men have fatally aggressive tumours

CHRIS F - is seeing Dr Charles “Snuffy” Myers and the drugs are costing his insurers $9,500 a month!
