The answer to your question is the same as the answer to the question How long is a piece of string?
It all depends on the personal reaction of the man's system - and how long he has been on the hormone therapy. Some men recover fairly rapidly, within two or three months, others take longer and, I regret to have to tell you this, but some never recover at all.
I think it is unlikely that you would be in the last group because the studies I have seen seem to only involve men who have been on the therapy for years, rather than months.

Thanks Terry. I guess it is a wait and see situation but that is the hardest part. I wonder if the procedure created problems even though both nerve bundles were spared. Although the support nurse stated that I was on the operating table for 5 hours and that length could traumatized the nerves so there could be a longer time to get any response. So I have two things now affecting this problem and no way of knowing what will happen--only wait and see.
