I'm 58 with T1c/G6(3+3 / 30% & 70%) and a 4.8 PSA.
I've decided to go with a da Vinci and I'm looking for feedback on surgeons in the Chicagoland area.
I did get Chuck Maack's recommendations, but the only suggestions he sent for this procedure were located in Detroit.
Some names I have so far are, James Giblin, Michael Blum, Robert Bonzani. If you've had any experience with these are other doctors, I would appreciate your input
Mike, I had Da Vinci surgery last summer at Waukesha Memorial hospital near Milwaukee. Dr. Brian Butler was the surgeon and he is excellent. Also the support and care offered by the hospital were first rate. There is a prostate cancer outreach person named Craig Gordon who is an extremely helpful resource there. As you can tell I think very highly of the care I got.
