I have seen comments from some that insurance won't pay for many pills of Viagra. One way to do this is have the script written for either 50mg or 100 mg and cut them into 1/2 or 1/4.
In the UK meds are free, as you probably all know.
It was my specialist urolgy nurse who told me I should ask the my local doctor for a prescription for Viagra, adding that I should ensure they were 100mg, as lower doses would possibly be ineffective for me.
My local doc didn't even know that PCa patients were eligible, and had to read through his handbook before he was convinced!
I have to say, the 100mg worked pretty well for me after the hormone treatment finally nuked my libido.
Only one side effect in my own case....THE HEADACHE FROM HELL the following morning! but hey, small price to pay for some much required THERAPY! : )--
