This forum is a great resource for adult children of mentally ill parents. Until, at age 50, I wrote a book about my experiences growing up as a Catholic school student with a mother who thought she killed Christ, it was never really clear to me that my mother had an illness. Somehow, I always thought that we were just terrible children who made her go away. There is a path to peace and I hope we all can find it.
