Songs that leave #1 and then return

I was listening to AT40 this weekend and heard Ed McMann (in for Casey) discuss songs that have dropped from #1 and then returned. One of the examples was Savage Garden's "Truly Madly Deeply" which dipped out of #1 when Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" spent 9 weeks at #1, and then returned for one more week at #1. Is that 9-week hiatus a R&R Pop Chart record?

Songs dip in and out of #1 all the time on AT20. Santana was #1, fell, and then returned 4 MONTHS later with "The Game Of Love", which I believe may be an AC record. I don't know about the Hot AC record, but "Unwell" had a 4-week hiatus between its 19th and 20th weeks at #1 on the Hot AC chart earlier this year.

Re: Songs that leave #1 and then return

If I'm not mistaken, The Sign by Ace of Base in 1994 fell from # 1 for one week and then returned on CT 40.
