Just to confirm that there are no matches this coming Sunday (23rd December) or the Sunday after (30th December) as the League always have a two-week break over Xmas. We will therefore not be training this coming Wednesday night (19th December).
I have e-mailed the League Fixture Secretary to try and find out if we will definitely have a game arranged for Sunday 6th January. If we have, then we will train at the Southgate Hockey Centre on Wednesday 2nd January (as long as the SHC are actually taking bookings for that week...they might still be 'shut' for the Xmas period if those that work there have gone away).
Most players who were at the match yesterday seemed to want to train on the 2nd and I didn't hear anybody say they are away. However Jacko wasn't there yesterday, so we may need to check with him first before we book training on the 2nd. He may well be up in Stoke or abroad for Xmas/New Year ?
