Waltham Sunday League Multi-Registration Form

Just a warning that the League Multi-Registration Form for next season (11-a-side in the Waltham Sunday League) has to be returned to the League straight after our 7-a-side League match on Monday 2nd July (two weeks' time).
Any player who played for us last season who misses signing that form will then not be able to play for us next season until they provide a new passport-size photo and fill in a full individual registration form...which is obviously a right hassle.

We also get fined and threatened with expulsion from the League if we do not have a minimum of 11 players signed on by Monday 2nd July.
At the moment, only 6 players have signed the form...namely Daniel Cascoe, Danny Hagan, Lexton Harrison, Simon Jackson, Ben Keating & Terry Moore.
Alan Barnard & Gavin Mardell will be playing 7-a-side tonight so that will bring it up to 8, but at the moment it doesn't look as if anybody else will be playing tonight who is listed on the Multi-Registration Form as one of our registered players last season.

The following players are those who are listed on the Multi-Registration Form as registered players for us last season and who apparently want to play next season but have not signed the form yet ...
Tim Beeden
Martin Cruickshank
Lee King
Tony King
Martin Loveday
Leon McKenzie-McKay
Vernon Nxumalo
John Scouller
Martin Worthington

It is up to these players to make an effort to turn up and play 7-a-side either tonight (we still need 3 more players !), this coming Thursday night (21st June), Monday and/or Thursday next week (25th & 28th June) or Monday 2nd July.
* Please note that there will be no match on Thursday 28th June though if England are playing in a Euro 2012 Semi-Final on that date.

There are also several others listed on the form who are currently undecided but may well want to sign up 'just in case' (e.g. Daniel Daley, Colin Bester, Steve Cokell, Stuart Dorward, Conor McGovern, Rob & Terry Brown, Yianni Kyriacou, Olie Tedder, Darryl Johnson & Tem Adil).
It is up to them to come along to a 7-a-side match and sign up if they want to.

I will not be forging players signatures (as other Club Secretaries allegedly do ) and I will not be driving round to players' houses to get them signed up.

New players to the club for next season have to provide a passport photo and fill in a full registration form anyway, so there is no rush for them to come along to 7-a-side and sign up. That can be done after Monday 2nd July.

It hasn't helped that we have hardly played 7-a-side at all so far this Summer because of the weather, but the League won't give us any leeway on that. As far as they are concerned, all clubs should still be seeing their players during the Summer (in a pub/clubhouse) to get the form signed.

Re: Waltham Sunday League Multi-Registration Form

Just an update on this...

Players from last season who are listed on the Multi-Registration Form but have not yet signed it for next season are as follows:
Tem Adil
Tim Beeden
Colin Bester
Rob Brown
Terry Brown
Steve Cokell
Martin Cruickshank
Daniel Daley
Stuart Dorward
Darryl Johnson
Lee King
Ricky Kyagaba
Yianni Kyriacou
Martin Loveday
Conor McGovern
Leon McKenzie-McKay
Vernon 'Kizza' Nxumalo
Olie Tedder
Martin Worthington

Some of the above are of course now retired, injured or have other commitments which mean they are unlikely to play next season anyway, but if any of them are intending to be a part of next season's squad, it's up to them whether they want to come along to 7-a-side this Thursday or next Monday to sign up.
If they don't mind the hassle of signing up later when they would have to fill in a full registration form and get a new passport photo done, that's fine be me as long as we have got enough players registered in time to play our first League match on Sunday 2nd September.

I will also now be signing up new players at 7-a-side League matches from this Thursday onwards, so can the people bringing them along please remind them to bring a passport photo with them whenever they play ?
