Our next 7-a-side match this coming Monday is again to be played on grass, but this time it's a 7.30.p.m. Kick-Off as opposed to 7.15.p.m.

The problem I have got with picking a squad for this match is that there is no game on Thursday next week (because there are 9 teams in the Thursday League and it is our week without a game). That means 'everybody' will probably want to play on Monday.

I wasn't there at our match last night so I don't know if this is 100% correct or not, but it appears that two of our players dropped out of the squad during the day yesterday in protest at who was being left out and/or the way we played in losing our first two matches this Summer. That situation is also going to complicate things in naming a squad for this match, so we are going to have to have a Management Committee discussion before I can name the squad for Monday on here.
Hopefully they can reply today to the e-mail I am going to send them this morning. If not, then I won't be able to announce the squad on here until Sunday evening.

Both myself and Trevor will be there for Monday Night's match. I apologise for not being there last night but I had too much work on after filming Tournaments almost non-stop for the last two weeks.
If any players want to e-mail, Facebook-message or phone me for a chat today about what went on last night and their participation in forthcoming 7-a-side matches, please do so. I need to speak to as many players as possible as that will help me name the squads.
I am not filming anything today or over the weekend, so I should be contactable most of the time.

Right...Management Committee decision (which I agree with BTW).
We have decided to give priority to prospective (known good) new players for this match because there is a danger of them joining other clubs if we do not get in first. Obviously the following week we will be playing both Monday & Thursday, so the regulars will return for one of those matches alongside new players who are any good and can afford to pay their subs. I'm sure that having one week off won't make too much difference to our current players' fitness levels.

Jacko told Trev last night that he was unavailable for Monday but I think that might have been because he thought we had a game this coming Thursday ? If Jacko definitely cannot play on Monday, then Tim Beeden will be in goal.

I have put Hagan in ahead of other current players because he is Captain. We need at least one current outfield player to play with all these new players playing. John said he will voluntarily be an unused sub if we end up with a squad of 9 on the night.

Ivan Bass is a mate of Lexton's who played a couple of 7-a-side matches for us last Summer. (ex-Brimsdown Rovers defender).

Although it is a nightmare journey for me in the rush hour, I will drive up the Hertford Road from Edmonton to pick players up in Enfield Wash/Waltham Cross if John can't fit them all in his car and if none of his mates drive.
Trevor will also be there this Monday.

Just remembered...there's no match on Monday 4th June as it's a Bank Holiday. Oh well.

Ivan drives and will be picking Lexton up and I think some of John's mates drive as well, so that problem is solved.

Terry Moore & Alan Barnard are also both available to play at the 'last minute' if anybody drops out before 7.00.p.m.
Terry has given me the kit. Trev will be bringing the subs tin.

John only has two of his prospective new players available for tonight's match...Dan McKenahie (a Left-Back) and Volkan Dalgic (a winger). I am not 100% sure if those names are spelt correctly but we will find out tonight.

Although he will be in attendance himself, John doesn't particularly want to play tonight, so we have also called up Ben Keating & Terry Moore to make it a squad of 8 as follows:

'Luis Figo' is somebody with the IP address 86.26.219.118 who has posted false messages on here five times recently posing as Jacko, John, Ben & Terry Brown. I also deleted another one from him last night where he posed as a prospective new player with a 'gay sex connotation' as his name.

Sorry, but the porn industry wind-ups are getting boring now...and posting messages using somebody else's proper name is well out of order. Any more and I will ban this person from the Forum.
