Our second goal is on 05:40. I have given it to Tony King even though it was a cross which took two deflections, as the ball was heading towards the far corner anyway and not going wide. If the cross had been going wide, then it would have been an Own Goal by their No.6.
Also, if No.6 had intentionally diverted the cross (i.e. trying to clear it out for a corner or passing it back for the keeper to clear), then it would have been an Own Goal by him.
Hope that clears things up ? I expect some of our players will disagree ?
Aplogies to Kris Spyrou for showing him getting nutmegged twice, but it was good skill by Kizza (early in the Second Half) and John Scouller (on the final whistle) which I couldn't really leave out.
Well done chaps, looked like a good performance. A couple of decent goals and a slim Steve Cokell who has obviously been practicing his striking of the ball over the park in pre-season.
