Just received from Liz at the Southgate Hockey Centre...

Dear Thursday footballers.
This Thursday is the last week of Phase 1 of the league.
Following the results this week, the league will be split in two with the top half playing in the cup league and the bottom half playing in the plate league. The phase 2 schedule will be published early next week.
NOTE - There will be a rest week on 21 July.
The 2nd phase will start on 28 July, and run for 5 weeks until the 25th August. Presentations will be made after that final game.

So...On Thursday 21st July we have of course booked the grass pitch between 7.00 & 8.00. p.m. for Pre-Season Training. I have not had any invoice/confirmation of that yet, so do we use half the Astroturf instead...maybe for two hours ? and include a 7-a-side practice match as part of our Pre-Season Training session ?

Guys
We are losing too many balls.
If a ball goes over the netting, you need to send a sub on the side line to get it. Daylight is still good and they should be easy to find.
If I run out of spares, you will be asked to provide your own, so please go and get them or improve your aim!!
Also, please do not go under the black netting. It is
getting very damaged and will cost a lot to replace.
