I just phoned Lexton. He had an X ray and it was dislocated. He said that it was far worse than Jacko's finger but they refused to operate, gave him some painkillers and told him to go home as it would heal by itself! NHS cuts.
He has an appointment to go back during the week so he will not be at training or available next week. It is possible that he could be out for the rest of the season but he will keep me informed of his progress. I wished him a speedy recovery.
For those who are wondering what 'it' means (including me as I had my headphones and four wooly hats on, so couldn't hear what was being said on the touchline when Lexton came off injured), I presume it was a dislocated shoulder ?
