Just in case certain players did not get the e-mail I sent out yesterday...there is no training this Wednesday (or a match for the next three Sundays).

The next training session is on Wednesday 5th January (weather permitting).

Why the massive break for training?

We can't use it on Wednesday 22nd or 29th December as the Southgate Hockey Centre is 'shut for Christmas' on those two dates, at least as far as hiring the Astroturf is concerned.

We are not training this Wednesday mainly because Jacko said after the match on Sunday that he had hurt his thumb and therefore wouldn't be there...so no keeper.
Also Danny Hagan has got to go Christmas shopping !
Seriously though, the SHC are allowing us to cancel this week because we do not have a game now until the 9th January, so I decided we might as well just make a fresh start on Wednesday 5th Jan.
