The Southgate Hockey Centre have just told us that Boca Sovereign have dropped out (not surprisingly), so that means we have no match this Thursday and therefore get another 5-0 walkover win. (Boca Sovereign's last two games have been awarded to their opponents rather than their record being expunged).
We now only have one game left (against 1664 on Thursday 2nd September).

With Boca Sovereign dropping out, they have now changed the kick-off times for the final two weeks (this coming Thursday and the 2nd September) to 7.30.p.m. & 8.30.p.m., which means both pitches are being used from 7.30.p.m. onwards...so we therefore cannot use one of them for a training session.
We cannot use the grass either, as it is now dark by 8.00.p.m.
On the evidence of Thursday just gone though (when we only had 4 players willing to play 7-a-side), a training session this coming Thursday is pointless anyway....and I won't be there myself as I have to go to a League Meeting.
How the hell did we ever manage to get 20 over there only 5 weeks ago ?!!!
