Due to the early kick off and the non appearance of trialist Wosen Girma Rike we were left with a 7 man squad for the 7 a side match against Middlesex United. Fortunately, they were all regulars who were keen to play without substitutions and we stayed injury free. We took the lead after 6 minutes when Lee King finished well from Dean Assiamah’s cross after a good move. We continued to play good football throughout the first half but we missed several chances. In the second half both keepers kept the score down with several fine saves. In fact Ozel Ozerman was arguably our man of the match. In the 47th minute Lee King and Dean Assiamah combined again with another excellent finish by Lee confirming a 2-0 win.
