Trev is working at a different Court today, and their computers won't let him post on the Forum. Here is his Manager's Report which he has e-mailed me:

'Our idea to have a pre season training session on Thursday before our 7 a side match against All Blacks proved to be highly successful with 20 players attending. After a one hour session I chose a 10 man squad with the remaining players giving Jacko a good workout with shooting practice.
Ozel Ozerman played in goal against his mates’ team with Terry Moore, Alan Barnard, Dean Assiamah, Tem Adil and Danny Hagan joined by a rare appearance from Stuart Dorward, Daniel Daley, Tony King and debutant, Scott Lewis. The two touch passing in the training session was carried forward into the match with some good passing keeping us well on top. Both sides were down to 6 men for a 5 minute sin bin offence by Danny Hagan and an All Blacks player, during which time we took the lead when Tony King pounced on the rebound from a save from Scott’s shot. We were appealing for a foul on Scott when All Blacks equalised after 18 minutes from what seemed like their first shot. As we were fielding a strong squad we still expected to win but we went behind when a long range shot came off the post and went in off Oz’s back for an own goal. Despite having lots of possession and shots we were unable to equalise and the game finished in a disappointing 2-1 defeat.'
