However, Stuart can only play in the second match at the moment due to family commitments and one or two other players named in the squad above won't know until later in the week if they are going away for Easter or not.
We therefore need a couple more players to bolster the squad.

Conor McGovern (Injured), Martin Loveday (Away for Easter) & Jim Arrowsmith (Easter/Family Commitments) are all unavailable.

Please note that Northmet no longer play at the Holtwhites Sports & Social Club (where we have played them for the last three seasons).

The Northmet Secretary has confirmed that we are definitely playing on the 'ploughed field' in Turkey Street according to this on Google Maps and not the marked-out pitch next to it.

Of course it is no longer a ploughed field (since that photo was taken), and there is also a car park inside the ground.

Kizza confirmed last Sunday. Rob and Terry Brown have both confirmed by text. I have spoken to Jamile who is playing and he will speak to Daley.
Loveday is added to the squad which is now looking strong.

Daley has also confirmed and will be meeting at the Southbury.

Jim has texted me and said he is available for the second match if needed as his Church League Double-Header tomorrow (Saturday) morning has been called off waterlogged pitch (at Wanstead Flats) already !

Clark also might be available if needed.
At the moment he is planning to go away/out for the day on Sunday, but won't if the weather is crap.

Let's just hope it doesn't piss down tomorrow and get called off waterlogged...which is the forecast, unfortunately.
