The Division One Table

The way things stand after yesterday's games, Larsens will clinch the Division One Title by getting just a point from one of their two matches against us this coming Sunday, as they will also officially be getting three points at a League Management Committee Meeting in May for a non-fulfilment by St. Margaretsbury against them in a recent midweek fixture.
The current League Table (see http://www.mercurywalthamleague.co.uk/tables.htm) does not include that non-fulfilment yet, so in reality they have 49 points from 18 matches instead of 46 from 17. Even if they lose all their remaining matches this season though, they have a much superior goal difference to the only team that can catch them, St. Mary's...unless we win both of this coming Sunday's games by big margins !

As for ourselves, we can still be overtaken by Mc,Kenzie Rangers and end up being relegated because of our recent Non-Fulfilment against Northmet (Riverside)...which has not yet been added to the League Tables.
Mc,Kenzie Rangers also 'non-fulfilled' a match recently which has yet to be added to the League Tables, but they now have three relatively easy games left which, if they win them all, will see them finish a point above us and with a likely better goal difference unless we WIN one of these two matches or our last game of the season Away to St. Margaretsbury.
It is therefore crucial that players do not cry off from this Sunday's Double-Header and make every effort to play !
