The teams we will be facing in the 'Plate League' for the next 5 weeks are Substance Over Form (the really poor side who didn't win a single match), and then 4 teams who are about the same as us ability-wise in New Barnet, K & M Old Boys, International (who normally finish in the TOP 6, not the BOTTOM 6 !), and interestingly, Cheshunt (Sunday), who despite turning up with players who play for Hoddesdon and Ware on Saturdays, seem to have been caught out by how good the standard is ?

If we can find a proper goalkeeper for all of our Thursday Night 'Plate League' matches, then we will have a chance of winning it, but if it is ME in goal, then we have got no chance.

Just looking back at previous years in the 7-a-side League, there have always been 2 or 3 teams as poor as Substance Over Form on BOTH Monday & Thursday nights, but that is certainly not the case this Summer.
