Simon managed to raise nearly 2 grand for Meningitis UK, although as you can see by the split times he did hit the wall, probably about 18 miles. He saw Tarby at about 20 miles and then again at the finish. Very enjoyable day, will certainly be doing it again next year, anybody fancy joining him ???? The massage of a beautiful female physio at 22 miles was worth the pain itself !!!!!

Well done Simon. I wish some of our outfield players had as much stamina. Most of them struggle to run for a mere 90 minutes.

I did check the London Marathon website and found that a Simon W. Jackson completed it in 3:39:46 but he is obviously younger and fitter.

Jacko....I could well be up for that mate....when did you start training for this years one??
