The squad of 16 for this coming Sunday's Division One match Away to Metroline Uniques at Enfield Playing Fields is as follows:
Simon Jackson (GK), Stuart Dorward, Paul Woolston, Andrew Warmerdam, Colin Bester, Terry Moore, John Mc,Loughlin, Peter Murphy, Paul Ellerker, Nick Vertigans, Chris 'Nugget' Beeden, Derek Dorward, Conor Mc,Govern, Steve Cokell, Gary Cokell & Tony Speller (who has a heavy cold at the moment but is hoping to confirm his availability later in the week).

The only players who are unavailable this week are Darryl Johnson and Robin Pryke (at the moment).

We have decided to leave out Dan George, Juneka Junior, Kris Spyrou and Ritchie Copues for this match because it is unfair on them to keep turning up every week and be named as substitutes with little chance of getting more than 10-15 minutes worth of action at the most.
We will be doing our best to arrange a Friendly the following week and priority will be given to those four players to be in the starting line-up for that, along with whoever is named as the five substitutes for this particular match, plus Robin Pryke and Foysol Ahmed...subject to availability.

Regarding those named in the 16 this week, Simon Jackson has assured us that he will be available this Sunday. His explanation for missing last Sunday's match was that he 'knackered himself out after doing a 14-mile run !'. However, we have named Gary Cokell in the squad 'just in case' ! Terry Moore was at training this week and has now recovered from his hamstring injury, while John Mc,Loughlin and Derek Dorward are also available to return to the squad.

Speller has just e-mailed to say that his physio has told him not to play again until early February as his torn thigh muscle has still not healed properly.

There is no need for us to call up anybody else to replace him in the squad just yet unless we end up with less than 14.

No go for sunday, pick up a calf strain last night.

What's all this with people not using their names any more ?

As Steve Cokell has now dropped out, that leaves us down to 13 including Del, who I have not had confirmation from yet as to whether he is working or not.

I have now spoken to Trev and he therefore wants Juneka Junior, Dan George and Kris Spyrou to be added to the squad.
He says if they don't want to come along because they might be a sub (again) and not get a game, then that's up to them. Hopefully at least one of those three (and other registered players such as Ritchie & Tarby) will be there and we will not end up with less than eleven if more players drop out between now and Sunday.

I tried to get Foysol to play but he didn't think he would be needed so he has arranged a driving lesson instead. (He is a driving instructor for anyone who didn't know).
