Just had a quick look at Vasco's Website and it looks like Osborne has been playing regularly, however Myron has been sub lately for Dysons. But, in a strange twist of fate it looks like Scott Griffin, easily Dyson's best player has packed in (what a shocker that is Lol).
The upside of this for Osborn is that instead of having to deal with Scott "All over the Park" Griffin he may well come up against Myron "Dodgy Knee" Mckay.
Got to fancy the men in orange against Dysons now.
Unfortunately, I have just found out that there is an Edmonton Sunday League game being played on Pitch 16 (the one in-between ours and Osborn's) on Sunday, so we won't be able to get a good look at what is happening over there after all.
Myron actually scored Dysons' winner in a 1-0 win against Shadwell (Stocky & Ellis-Browne's team) last Sunday, so it sounds like he's 'in form' and Osborn had better 'watch out' !
Like you Ritchie, I also read on Dysons' website that their Player-Manager/Secretary Scott Griffin had decided to pack it all in.
Apparently, when our Reserves first played them, he told Russell & Mark that he would have Dysons in the Premier Division in five years time, which was presumably what all the turning up an hour before kick-off to do warm-ups in sponsored tracksuit tops and having players' names on the back of their shirts, etc. was all about.
Unfortunately, in Sunday League football, treating players as if they are professionals doesn't always work.
