I don't want anybody to arrange anything definite yet as regards going away with the missus for the weekend, but it is likely that our game Away to Trent Park (Arkay) will be OFF this coming Sunday as their London F.A. Sunday Intermediate Cup match was called off yesterday because of no referee being available.
Normally that means it is automatically re-arranged for the following week, but neither Trent Park or the London F.A. have confirmed that with our League Fixture Secretary yet, and may not do so until the middle of this week.
If that happens, it will then be too late to arrange a Friendly instead.

However, if we hear sometime today that the match is definitely off, we will DEFINITELY attempt to arrange a Friendly match this Sunday against a team from a lower Division as we have far too many players at the moment who have not been getting a game and need some match practice.
We should be able to use either Pitch 2 at Hazelwood or a pitch over Enfield Playing Fields, but the only problem is that we will have no referee and probably no goalkeeper. (Darryl normally gets 'dragged away' when we don't have a game !?).

Our League game against Trent Park (Arkay) is definitely ON this Sunday, so 'panic over' !

Apparently it was Trent Park's opponents who were at fault for the referee not turning up as they didn't confirm the match with him, so it will now be a London F.A. decision rather than the match being re-arranged...at least for this Sunday anyway.
