Eric has e-mailed me this morning to say he is leaving the club (with immediate effect) 'due to work commitments, lack of enthusiasm and possibly might be playing for another team in the Essex Sunday Corinthian League.'

I think we can safely assume that Chris Akinrele will therefore not be joining us either.

At the moment it's difficult to tell how many of our remaining players still want to stay with us 'whatever', or how many more are going to decide to leave within the next two or three weeks 'because everybody else is'.
Somehow I don't think Eric (and Chris ?) are going to be the last.

There is also still no sign of anybody wanting to join us either.
Surely there must be some half-decent players out there somewhere who are looking for a regular game of football irrespective of our recent results ?
