The Management Committee have now confirmed the inevitable in that due to a lack of players, the Reserve Team will be disbanded for this season (and thereafter) with immediate effect.

The relevant authorities (League, London F.A., Enfield Council, etc.) will be informed during the day tomorrow (Tuesday) and the website will be updated accordingly by tomorrow evening.

Our First Team will continue in Division One this season, and the squad for our first match on Sunday 4th September is currently as follows:
Darryl Johnson (GK), Stuart Dorward, Paul Woolston, Terry Moore, Paul Ellerker (If he does not have family commitments), Eric Ibekwem (If he is not working), Robin Pryke (If he is prepared to risk his ankle without having Pre-Season Training), Tony Speller, Vernon 'Kizza' Nxumalo, Colin Bester, Tem Adil, Dan George, Ritchie Copues & Scott Robertson (If he is not still injured).

That is a total of just 14, including 4 'might be's.
This is because Conor Mc,Govern is on holiday, Steve Cokell is out injured and Nick Vertigans, Chris Akinrele, Derek Dorward, Foysol Ahmed, Gary Cokell and Paul Rebairo have all failed to provide passport-sized photos for their registrations so far...and the deadline for playing on Sunday 4th September is this coming Wednesday morning. (They are all available to play on the 4th September if only I could get photos off them !!! ).

Russell Beeden will be staying up in Manchester now the Reserve Team have been disbanded, but we do have some other registered players who could help us out on the 4th September if Paul Ellerker, Eric, Robin & Scott cannot play...namely Peter Murphy, Chris Morrish, Simon Jackson & Adam Barker.
If any of those four are willing to come along on the 4th September and play at the last minute if necessary, please let us know.

Everybody else appears to have left the club, which is why we can no longer run a Reserve Team.
