Attached ACC

Left boys in 1965,First posting as cook my beloved 42.Quickly grew up!!Was 94 battery cook,on ex.Question is do any old arses remember cooks like Nosher Scales,Taff Francis,Alfie Cripps,Dodger Green,Taff Williams,Alan Callow,Mick Parker,Geordie Story,It was my baptism of fire and I loved it!!Also my 42 mates,Bob Lengden(RIP) Jim Cunningham Bernie Morgan,Sean Kennedy,Scouse Cleary,and not forgetting Colin Huber and Dennis Portman!!Too many names to mention but those times in Lippy and Devices will live with me!! Tony no doubt you have surfed the gallery pages mate, have you checked out the 42 - 94 face book accounts ?

I didnt Bob Langden had passed away, so sorry to hear that was always trying to find him. How did you find out ?

I remember all of the above, Alfie Cripps was the Regimental Butcher (RA) who transferred to the ACC - you missed out Bill Slater!:grinning:

paddy hagan was the butcher used to drink the blood out of the drip tray.well as for bill Slater less said the better
