Useful confirmation - I believe that after handing over command of 42 Medium Regiment RA he went on to be Deputy Head of the Regular Commissions Board at Westbury. I think he retired after that having been in the Gunners since 1942.

there is a P F H Lt Col Reeve in the 2009 blue list. he retired in 1968. could be the right one.
