Lt Col WJ MacDonald R.I.P

also mentioned in the Gunner today.

Bill MacDonald sadly passed away 8th October 2013 after a short illness.
Bill served with 42 Regiment from August 1973 as a Lieutenant in Fallingbostle but started his army service as a Gunner.
Bill was promoted to Captain whilst with the Regiment and stayed until March 1976.
R.I.P Bill, another Gunner gone but not forgotton.

Sorry to hear this sad news of the passing of another Gunner. I unfortunately never had the pleasure of meeting Bill, and I don't have a photo of him.

Bill was QM Until the Regt disbanded and then went to 5Regt Hildesheim Ray
