Brian Turner 18Bty RIP


I received this email.

I wish to inform you that my father Brian Turner who served with 42 Hvy in Fallingbostel in 18 Battery in the 70's passed away on the 3rd of april

If I remember correctly, Brian was BQMS of 18 Bty in Fally.

Sorry about the sad news , Condolences to your family and friends.
My name is John and I am the Standard Bearer for 42 Regt and ex member of 18Bty, I will be at your fathers funeral on Thursday 18th, if you have any other details could you put it on our message board.

I had a chat to Sarah last night, her Mother is not capable of having too many at Brians service so has kindly declined for John to attend. I have told John and obviously we have to take her thoughts into account.
I advised sarah that I would be in touch in a couple of months.
