Re: Crop circles

i agree with you on that one wolfy..there are some things there that will never be explained..and i kind of think that this is one of them.

in this town in new brunswick...there is something called magnetic hill where the hill will pull your car up...and you dont' have to have it on..so maybe the crop circles are kind of like that....didn't watch that one..will have to tune into TLC..more often..can you give me a shout if you hear that it's on again....

Having watched a documentary on crop circles and the recent film "Signs" dealing with this topic, I have been thinking about the various theories regarding this phenomenon. Among the popular theories are these--1) they are all hoaxes, similar to those perpetrated in England by confessed hoaxers 2) they are caused by UFO's 3) they are caused by unknown electromagnetic forces 4) they are created by some other unknown force, either within ourselves or by some other entity. The documentary on TLC mentioned the concept of ley lines, (a theory advanced by T. C. Lethbridge)particularly as they relate to English crop circles and the prevalence of ancient stone circles such as Stonehenge along these electromagnetic force fields. I believe in this connection. Rather than seeing the crop circles as being extraterrestial in origin, I think the crop circles are somehow associated with unknown earth energies; perhaps they are magical thought forms given physical reality or maybe they are created by some type of earth spirit once recognized in ancient times and now nearly forgotten. What do others think of the crop circles? Are they hoaxes, the creations of extraterrestials, or something else? Theories, anyone?

Re: Re: Crop circles

I'll let you know if I hear that the show will be on again. The electromagnetic energies, I think, are also related to other unexplained phenomena such as ghosts. Actually I kind of believe in ghosts. I've had a couple of experiences in which I think I may have seen the ghosts of dead pets--once at my grandmother's funeral (a blurry glimpse of a dog or cat with a black and white tail--either my cat Wolfy or my dog Tina) and once at the house of someone whose dog was run over by a train a few days previously. Both visions were very transitory--the image of the dog who had been killed by the train was kind of like a hologram.

Re: Re: Re: Crop circles

that's so cool..i'm not quite sure if i believe in ghosts...but i will tell you this...my grandfather and i were very close..he died when i was 12...and it's almost like sometimes, i feel his presence..he never says anything..he has not materialised..or anything like that...but it's kind of like i can feel him...so maybe on some level, i kind of do....so who knows..maybe there are ghosts out there....

i just feel like he's watching over me type of thing....
