Here's a greeting that you can put on your answering machine.

And everywhere that Mary went, the lamb was sure to go.
It followed her to school one day, that naughty little sheep,
And left noone to get the phone.....Leave A Message At The Beep!

You can also incorporate your phone number into one.....You must say this as fast as you can to get the right effect.

"480-xxx-xxxx summer home,
summer home and summer not!"

OR
There's one of my favorites.
(yelled into the phone like you are answering from the floor of a busy factory)

"Redbone's sack factory! What old bag you want to talk to?!!!"
