I met an old fella in the House of Blues that special night over two years ago. It was in the restroom and -I **** you not - he was combing his beard with a comb and washing his hands repeatedly. I asked him if he liked Andy kaufman and he told me no. "I'm here, only for my friends," he said. And then he told me he was mad at them - his friends. When I read Rob's story I thought it may be the same old fella he was chatting with, but he seemed way more abnormal. Then I asked him if he flew there, or what, and he said no. He told me that he hitch-hiked from New Mexico. (What the hell's up with all this New Mexico business?)
He seemed very self centered and didn't seem to notice me much. But unlike Andy, he almost seemed dangerous, so going by my senses, I decided to leave.
Maybe he was Andy. But probably not - I doubt Andy would be that scary. He wasn't scary at all.
