I'm sorry to learn of your father's passing. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Please don't let the idea of "coincidence" trouble you at all... lung cancer is one of the most prevalent forms of cancer, exceeding deaths each year from prostate, breast and colon cancer all combined, with over 160,000 estimated in just 2005... certainly big reasons for people to get those checkups, as you recommend.
I hate like hell to hear about your pop, Jana. My Grandaddy died from lung cancer, too. But that was years ago. Terrible disease. If you ever want to talk or email you always have a friend. Alexwinters46@hotmail.com
My grandfather smoked and so do I. I'm keep trying to quit, but I'm pretty week. Forgive me for asking a personal question, but, did your father smoke?
yes, he did. he had tried quitting over the last year and kept going back. he was proud to say that he had quit for 10 weeks...but it wasn't soon enough. :(
Thank you all for your thoughts, it's been really rough...it's been a little too sudden to process. :/
:(. Word's probably cannot accurately describe the grief you and your family are going through, so please tell your family that we send our love. I think you're really cool, Jana and I always liked you a lot. Take care,
