Another good article. Both very interesting. However if the same movie had performed above box office expectations everyone would now be writing articles about the movie’s success, not failure. And praising its brilliance etc. and blah blah and blippity blopp.....

The movie was good too dammit! You apparently can’t have a box office hit without sex, nudity, violence or foul language, or at least some serious pandering and attempts at dirt digging. I think audiences like their thrills cheap and their brains in the off position.
