Claire's not really an uncommon name. I think you are reading to much into it.
But, to fan the flames... I swear, the first time I saw Being John Malcovich (opening day) the credits read "Andy Kaufman." I remember this because I took note of the strange coincidence between the style and name. It's possible my mind replaced the name just after viewing it, do to the similarities.
An old high school friend of mine's name is Brandon Stein. We once watched Motm. Production designer, Patrizia Von Brandenstein, took us by surprise in the credits.
