Re: Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

How come his NECK is the same size as his HEAD??

Re: Re: Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

I'm sorry; I meant to say, WOW, thanks for posting that intriguing photo, friend! It sure does bear a compelling yet odd resemblance to Andy!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

PS...

A few nights ago, I had a really cool dream. This picture just made me think of it. Now, let me say first off, that any time someone said they had a dream about Andy, I thought they were completely cuckoo. So, apparently, now am I.

In this dream, there was a special on TV. First I saw an ad for the hour-long special. It was some expose, dangling the chance of tantalizing proof or at least a comprehensive inquiry into the possibility that Andy may have faked his death.

Then I was watching the actual special. It was really mysterious and cool! There were interviews, explanations offered, but most compelling of all, lots of strange photos and "evidence" and even some dark, hard-to-scrutinize video footage!

The thing about all the photos, which made this elusive figure Andy seem even more mysterious, is that they were all creepily photoshopped. Like an old man with one eye. And I'm not talking missing an eye, I'm talking cyclops.

There was also a dishevelled, bearded, muttering man on a bus.

It was a really cool show, and as the hour crept by, I knew we were getting closer and closer to the big reveal! Just a few more minutes, and then I would know the truth! I was totally engrossed! It was fantastical! Then I rolled over in bed, rubbed my eyes, and ... oh, crap! I had woken up!! I was a bit miffed.

I was the dishelvled man with the beard.

You'll have to ask this ******* http://img280.echo.cx/img280/2594/myfavrt7wn.jpg

Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

Ok, on close inspection the likness is very convincing. However, here are my devil's advocate skeptics questions.

1.Photoshop can't be ruled out.

2.The face is odd, somehow mask-like. Make-up? Surgery? something definately happened to the left side.

3. The story is obviously exposition. The delivery is either that of a re-telling, or a fiction. Our friend is clearly delivering us the images. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad our friend is showing us the goods.

Re: Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

Man, you guys are fast! I just checked in again before going to bed. Anyway, the picture was taken a couple of years ago, the reason for the weird clothes is that my kid Spencer, the one on the left, and his friend Sean went through a period where they would only shop at Salvation Army. They were being socially conscious! They also were vegetarians for a while. He's kind of weird (in a cute way of course), that's why he likes hanging around at Nathan's and watching movies. And Nathan has gotten even fatter in the last couple of years. Like I said, I'll try to get a new photo next time I'm over there. I'm not too worried about him seeing this because he doesn't own a computer and he told me that he has never used one. But even if he does see it, I'm not out to ruin the guys life or anything. He's a nice guy and I'm just curious. I think it would be really cool if he was Andy Kaufman!

Re: Re: Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

If the picture is only a couple of years old, he seems too young to be Andy.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

Even if he is Andy, I seriously don't think any of us are out to ruin his life either.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

Yes Friend, thank you for posting this.

Egad... well, there is that Andy-like thing goin' on there... and something else about it reminds me of the kid in that Cher movie a few years back.

What's the design on the kid's black T-shirt?

The address of the photo says it is a ".jpg," yet my computer wants to only recognize it as an ".art" file. Anyone else having this problem? I wanted to save it and enlarge it on my screen, but the program doesn't seem to like the ".art" file.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

I was able to zoom in just fine, once I saved the photo to my desktop.

More surprising photos!

...and here he is playing with the dog.

Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

Sorry to burst the bubble, but I'm 95% sure this is a fake.
I copied the pic in photoshop and zoomed in on the face area. It shows clearly that the mouth, nose, eyes and brows are different kind of pixels. Most noticable is the 'line' from the nose to the chin.
Nice try though.

Re: Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

Yup, I noticed that too. Spooky anyway.

Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

Hmmmmmm. Something about the arms remind me alot of Andy. The arms are very hairry like Andy's. The face looks alot like his also. Both sides of the face looks like there's white-makeup on it.
But it's almost spookie how much the face looks like Andy's.
Tell us more about MR Mccoy, friend.

Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

The guy in the photo resembles Vincent Schiavelli to me.
trivia about him from an online biography:
"Vince got his role as a TV exec in Man on the Moon (1999) from his few appearances with Andy Kaufman on "Taxi" 1978.
Is frequently cast in Milos Forman films."

A case of 6 degrees of separation?

Re: Re: Nathan Mccoy photo

another tidbit about Vincent Schiavelli, he played a charater in the bond film Tomorrow Never Dies by the name of Doctor Kaufman
